Arabian Memory Championship 2022
The Arabian Memory Championship, in its Tenth edition, was held online on Saturday 31 December 2022 and Sunday 01 January 2023 and it is accredited by the Arabian Memory Championship Foundation and the World Memory Championship Foundation, and the events of the championship were online through the official website of the Arabian Memory Championship Foundation.
The championship was held under the supervision of Dr. Riadh Ben saoucha, founder of the Arabian Memory Championship and the representative of the World Memory Championship in the Arab world and the continent of Africa, and in the presence of the international Arbiter who gave the starting signal for the championship through the website.
This championship was organized by the “Arabian Memory Championship Foundation” represented by Dr. Riadh Ben saoucha, Director of the Foundation, and the championship was run from inside the Foundation’s headquarters.
4 Arbiters participated in the championship, including 3 international Arbiters from the World Memory Championship (Riadh Ben saoucha – third-degree international Arbiter, Oum El-Khair Ben Naoui – second-degree Arbiter, Kamel Lerari – second-degree Arbiter), in addition to Arbiters from Yemen, and Algeria, after their participation in the online arbitration training program.
In addition to the Arbiters, there was a team of technicians and administrators contributed to the success of the championship.
17 competitors (16 males 1 female) 15 from Yemen and One from Tunisia and one from Saudi Arabia participated in this online championship, and the composition of the competitors was as follows: 1 competitor from the adult category, 13 from the Juniors category, 3 from the Kids category, 3 from competitors participated in the memory championships before, and the rest are new competitors.

Second place: Salem HANI BAWAZIR (Yemen), with a total of 443 points.
Third place: Abdulmajeed SALEM BAMOMEN (Yemen), with a total of 368 points.
Kids category:
The Arab Memory Champion 2022 in the Kids’s category: Ahmed SALEH BELFAQEEH (Yemen), with a total of 288 points.
Second place: Hasan SALEM BA MUSLEM (Yemen), with a total of 51 points.
Third place: Eslam ABDULFATTAH NOMAN (Yemen), with a total of 14 points.
Thus, the Champion Juri NAJJAR from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be the Arab World Memory Champion for the year 2022, with a total of 988 points.
The results were announced on the evening of 19 January 2023, through a ceremony held in a virtual hall via Zoom, with a live broadcast of the ceremony on social media pages. The videos are as follows:

After the conclusion of the online championship ceremony, an e-mail was sent to all participants containing certificates of participation, certificates of first ranks.
One of the beautiful things about this championship is that the memory championship events have been developed into an electronic form that completely simulates the experience of paper events. The site has successfully passed all tests, even in special cases, with more than 25 demo championships being implemented before the real championship date.
Also, one of the nice things about this championship is that the competitors during the championship could see their results achieved in the events and their eligibility for medals in each break during the championship, and upon the end of the championship, they could see their answers in all the events to see where their mistakes, and the championship statistics were published live After the championship for the high transparency of this championship, which is in international standards and approved by the World Memory Championship Foundation.
